Pure Napa Valley
“Our wines have always been an expression of this remarkable place. The climate, soil profile, and unique spirit of Napa Valley create the perfect environment for growing wine grapes. I am also honored to call this special place my home.”

Wine is made in the vineyard
“Great wine starts in the vineyard, and great wine must always begin with a truly great vineyard.”
-
Perfection in every bottle
“Winemaking is a true labor of love. From the cultivation of each individual vine to the special magic that occurs in the barrel, each step in the winemaking process is a part of a journey not unlike life itself. Think of wine as a living, breathing thing – and make it your own.”
The People Behind Merryvale
Merryvale's proprietors, the Schlatter Family, are winemaking traditionalists with a deep respect for Napa's winemaking legacy and a dynamic vision for the future of Napa Valley. They are committed to preserving the winery's rich history without compromising their forward-looking plans. With acclaimed winemaker, Simon Faury, they have sharpened their focus on Bordeaux varieties, the wines for which Napa is most renowned.
